Fujairah Ruler reviews NCEMA's programmes and plan

FUJAIRAH; H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has been briefed on strategic programmes, objectives, specialties and plans of the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).
He was also briefed on its role in coordinating efforts, policies, and national procedures aimed at overseeing management of crises and emergency situations at the national level in collaboration with partners such as ministries and local and federal departments.
This came when H.H. Sheikh Hamad received a delegation from NCEMA, led by Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Hosni, Director-General of the authority, at Al Rumailah Palace.
Fujairah Ruler was also briefed on the efforts exerted by the authority in the field of developing mechanisms of emergency and crises management as well as its plans and strategies which come within the national system, in cooperation with other ministries and competent authorities in the country.
He also praised the body's efforts aimed to unify and coordinate joint work programmes to enhance national work system in the field of crises management by preparing plans and strategies that contribute towards harnessing all capabilities and potentials as well as ensuring team work to address emergency cases.
Sheikh Hamad also praised the role being played by the authority in the emirate.
Al Hosani gave a presentation on a number of programmes implemented by the authority in the emirate.
