Seven cyclists to tour across the UAE

Fujairah News; Seven cyclists embarked yesterday, Wednesday, February 15, 2017, on the first-of-its-kind cycling tour across the country. The adventure cyclists are planning to go round the seven emirates in conjunction with the National Sports Day 2017, organized in line with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. They will cover 460 Kilometer distance from Fujairah through the different emirates to end up at Abu Dhabi. The team comprises people from different nationalities UK, South Africa, France, Denmark and Nepal to highlight the cultural coexistence and religious tolerance in the UAE. The tour is also aimed at promoting the importance of regular exercise in fighting obesity and the related diseases.
The trip is supported by a number of government entities from across the country.
