Accolade coincides with bank's participation at Abu Dhabi Career Fair and highlights NBF's premium employer brand status
National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) PJSC announced that it has won the accolade for 'Best HR Team' at the Gulf Employee Experience Awards, outscoring some of the region's most prominent companies from a diverse range of industries. This is the second time NBF's HR team has been acknowledged as one of the best in the region. It acknowledges the team's success in building a highly-effective work environment by introducing new and innovative HR services, whilst continuing to drive initiatives in the areas of employee engagement and Emiratisation.

It acknowledges the team's success in building a highly-effective work environment by introducing new and innovative HR services, whilst continuing to drive initiatives in the areas of employee engagement and Emiratisation.
Speaking about this focus on creating the next generation of bankers, Watfa Abdulkarim, Manager - Emiratisationat NBF said: 'At NBF, we believe in constantly investing in our human capital by focusing on training and development, staff recognition, and employee welfare. Reflective of this, we are the first local bank to implement a flexible benefits' scheme for all staff and an Employee Wellbeing Programme (EWP) aimed at providing counselling services.'
She continued: 'At NBF, we are conscious that our strength and success over the years can only be attributed to our people; they build and enhance our relationships with our valued clients. Also, NBF received widespread recognition last year, including the MENA HR Excellence Award for the 'HR Team of the Year' in May, the LinkedIn 'Best Employer Brand' in October, and 'Innovation in Employee Engagement' and the 'Mark of Excellence for Nationalisation Initiative of the Year' at the 2016 HR Excellence Awards in December.
