FCCC and Malaysian Chess Federation to cement ties

Fujairah News; HE Abdullah Ali All Barkat, Chairman Fujairah Chess & Culture Club (FCCC), discussed with Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin, Malaysian Chess Federation (MCF) President, means and ways of fostering strong cooperation between the two sides. This came during the recent visit paid by Al Barkat to the MCF’s headquarters in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur. The two sides explored the possibilities of exchange of expertise, particularly in the area of honing the skills of young players.
Al Barkat got first-hand knowledge about the techniques adopted by MCF in training of its players of all age groups and classifications. He also shed light on FCCC’s achievements on the local, regional and international levels and in the area of enhancing the skills and capabilities of its players.
Al Barakat also called for friendly championship to be organized by the two sides in Fujairah.
On behalf of FCCC, All Barkat presented a trophy to H.E. Zahedi Zine El Abidine at the end of the visit.
