Fujairah Hospital organizes the 4th Anesthesia and ICU Study Day

Fujairah News: Fujairah Hospital organized on Saturday May 28 at Al Badri Auditorium the 4th anesthesia and ICU study Day, Monitoring to enhance patients’ safety”. The forum featured 3 secessions that discussed issues of anesthesia, critical care, ICU procedures and how to handle patients with these conditions. Besides lab tests required and types of medications and antibiotics to be given to such cases.
Dr. Nayem Olele, consultant of Anesthesia at Fujairah hospital, said to Fujairah News: “this conference focuses on how we can enhance patients’ safety by having the appropriate knowledge and good monitoring”. Adding; “We looked on how we can leverage on using the monitors to integrate the available information to look after patient so that we end up with good results”.
He also added the 3 sessions were very informative and helped us gain knowledge on how to use monitors to get better results. He concluded, “However, we must remember that monitors do not replace competent doctors and qualified nurses who look after patients”.
